It is the duty of every employer to ensure that the servicing and maintenance of their overhead crane is something which is carried out and recorded. Cranes & Lifting Ltd has extensive experience in this essentially important area. We can provide the end client with a maintenance & service contract, which binds a client to a number of visits per year by ourselves and covers the thorough examination of a crane, covering elements such as:
- Motor checks to hoisting and travelling operations
- Wire rope and lifting chain checks
- Operational & performance checks to hoist pressure bands, limit switches, sheaves and hooks
- Lubrication levels throughout
- Ancillary electrical checks
- Main electrical component checks to overload devices, contactors, fuses, timers and relays
- Optimisational checking to invertors and on board electronic components
- Examination of festoon systems, trollies and pendant controllers
The list is not comprehensive and a concise and thorough examination, accompanied by the relevant planned maintenance schedule report, is what you can expect from our service visit, as part of a contract or agreement. We can repair any defects immediately and be a one stop shop source of expertise for any crane related issues that you may have.
A service contract ensures that you will be covered in the event of any breakdowns, with all work and parts covered under our service warranty.
