We can provide a consultation service to you the end client in all things centred on lifting and the safe movement of heavy loads. We can provide a consultation service and can project manage clients own in house engineering teams, as well as lead and carry out load movement where high risks to floor level users are apparent, heavy machinery dismantling and safe movement, crane lift supervisions and the safe dismantle and relocation of existing overhead cranes and lifting assets. Training & Education

Cranes & Lifting Ltd. can utilise our expertise in the field and demonstrate professionalism and service by taking our knowledge and using it as a platform for providing training services, which are both classroom based and hands on or practical, often at your own place of work.  We can train you to lift more safely and make your work-place safer. We aim to cover the type of equipment you use.

Responsibilities

The employee has responsibilities too. An understanding and acceptance of these responsibilities by equipment users will result in less equipment damage and a safer workplace.

Avoiding Misuse

Misuse due to ignorance is a major cause of accidents. The correct way to use each type of equipment is taught.

Fault Finding

Worn or damaged equipment is another major cause of accidents. The ability of the user to identify such faults can save accidents from happening.

Practical Demonstration

Where possible and appropriate a practical demonstration of a lifting job can be set up onsite. Trainees can be allowed to carry out the lift under the control of the trainer. This often gives the trainee confidence to do a job he would otherwise not undertake.

We Can Come to You

We can come to your site and carry out the training program. We offer morning and afternoon sessions, with each class lasting around 3 hours, with a further 1 hour allowed for discussion.

Course Materials

Our supplied course materials come by way of lecture and discussion / video films / PowerPoint presentations & often samples of damaged and worn equipment

Attendee Certificate

Each attendee is provided with a certificate of training, with a duplicate copy for the employer.
